Through the female vocal, I will compare the band a bit with bands such as Crucified Barbara, Drain and Hydrogyn.
The best track on "Let You And Me Be One"is in my opinion opener "State Of Hate".
It is sufficiently hard and heavy and has a good melody.

I also liked the "Theatre Of Pain" by contrast,is quieter and the tempo down a bit.

The ending number has a more hard rock touch than the other songs,which as I said, is more heavy oriented.

The bass is reasonably heavy, the vocals are good.

I can see a future for Whipping Princess.

8-Point Rose startade upp under hösten 2009. Bandet har en medelålder på 20år och har sedan uppstarten redan hunnit inta scenen på bl.a House Of Metal, Nordic Rage Festival och Kirunafestivalen. Samt gjort några kortare turneér på rockklubbar i Sverige och norra Europa. Musik går närmast att beskriva som melodiös metal med nyskapande drag. Hårt, melodiöst och catchy är en bra sammanfattning av vad låtsamlingen står för. På debutskivan gästas vi av medlemmar från: Bloodbound, Avatar, Zonaria, Andromeda och Morgana Lefay. Vår hyllningslåt till Michael Jackson med titeln ”This Is It”, har fått lysande kritik.

COLD MOUNTAIN BAND.

Bandets allra första spelning var på biopremiären av filmen "Åter till Cold Mountain" på biografen Astoria i Stockholm. Då var bandet så nytt att man inte ens hade funderat på något namn.

Sedan dess har bandet varit flitigt i farten och spelat på fester, pubar, dagcentraler, bygdegårdar, företag, köpcentra och bluegrassfestivaler. Speciellt nämnvärda är ett antal spelningar för Saltsjö Square Dancers, där squaredansare för första gången fått uppleva hur mycket roligare det är att dansa till levande musik. Bandet tog sig även ända till semifinal i TV4:s Talang 2010.
